A brand built from nothing but a name.
The situation
A new film production company developing character-driven feature films and series with international ambition. The name existed. Nothing else did. It had to be credible to international financiers and co-production partners before it had any track record of its own.
What we found
The early direction leaned on nature as the subject, which read as documentary or activist work. It would have quietly narrowed the kind of financier and partner willing to take the company seriously, and it did not describe what the founder actually wanted to make.
What we did
Repositioned the company around worlds as inspiration rather than nature as subject, with endurance as the central philosophy. Everything else followed from that decision: positioning, brand convictions, values, verbal identity, the brand book, the visual identity and the website.
What changed
Warana now pitches international financiers and co-production partners with that brand. The website is live, and the positioning line runs through everything the company puts in front of a funder.
