A brand engagement that grew into the growth strategy.
The situation
A bootstrapped, founder-led company organising team retreats, offsites and workation events for remote-first and distributed teams. Netherlands based, selling across Europe. A real business with real customers and no complete brand behind it.
What we found
The competition was not other retreat companies. It was booking it yourself, postponing it, or a hotel day near the office. Positioning against the status quo rather than against competitors changed what the brand had to argue, and it changed the go-to-market that followed.
What we did
Built the company's first complete brand book, set the positioning and extended the brand story. That work then opened into go-to-market strategy: three deliberate growth motions, and an explicit list of what the company will not do.
What changed
The brand book is finished and in use, and the engagement moved from brand into go-to-market strategy. The more valuable work, earned by the first piece.
